Signs of the property market picking up.

6th May 2009

There is no doubt the property market has picked up within the last 3 months. At Mundys we have seen a 20% increase in new prospective buyers and throughout February, March and April we have been selling a home a day on average.

The most popular price range has been £100,000 to £150,000, with those being between £150,000 and £200,000 not far behind.

Our new, updated website has experienced a considerable degree of contact from the London area, with customers no doubt attracted by the competitive price range. We have also sold recently to buyers from France and Spain.

The other big change in April saw Mundys selling a significant amount of properties “new on the market” within the first 4 weeks of marketing. Because of the recession and the lingering effect of the credit crunch, the market conditions remain testing, but there are a lot more positive signs. Properties for sale at the right price have every chance of selling.
