Corks are popping at local lettings agent Mundys, as it celebrates regional recognition at a national awards ceremony.

Mundys Residential Lettings Department, from central Lincoln, has been ranked as the third-best letting agents in the East Midlands region at the recent UK Estate Agent And Letting Agent Of The Year Awards 2010.

Agents across the region and throughout the UK competed for the prestigious awards, supported by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The Estate Agent And Letting Agent Of The Year Awards are the largest and longest running awards scheme in the estate agent industry, taking account of the quality of services provided by letting agents and estate agents to their customers.

Agents are judged on the quality of service received by customers through the sales or letting and management processes.

The 2010 awards saw the largest number of entrants and standards achieved were reported as being higher than ever before.

Lettings director at Mundys, Hymie Bentley, is elated by their accomplishment. "The award is an excellent achievement and rewards the hard work of the whole lettings department over the past 12 months," says Hymie.

"We pride ourselves on providing the best letting service to our clients and this is a testament to the standards that we achieve."
